Guest guest
You Cannot Take Any Opioid Drugs With LDN....Here is a list of what not to take with LDN.... Do not take LDN - Naltrexone with any of the following without first talking to your doctor:• disulfiram (Antabuse);• thioridazine (Mellaril);• buprenorphine (Buprenex, Subutrex);• codeine (Tylenol with Codeine, and other brand names);• hydrocodone (Lorcet, Lortab, Vicodin, Vicoprofen, and otherbrand names);• hydromorphone (Dilaudid);• levorphanol (Levo-Dromoran);• meperidine (Demerol);• methadone (Dolophine, Methadose);• morphine (Kadian, MS Contin, MSIR, OMS, Roxanol, Oramorph SR,and other brand names);• oxycodone (M-Oxy, OxyContin, OxyIR, Roxicodone, Percocet,Percodan, and other brand names);• oxymorphone (Numorphan); or• propoxyphene (Darvon, and other brand names). As per Skip’s Compounding Pharmacy in Boca Raton, Florida “Darvocet†is one of the very few that You Can Take with LDN without it canceling out the LDN…… Always, Crystal Crystal's Website www.crystalangel.org [low dose naltrexone] Re: Hydrocodone/Lortab and LDN? OFF TOPIC/Holly Hi Holly,Subutex (Buprenorphine) can be Rx'd in the US for pain managementunder the name Buprenex. As said, it is more commonly used for Opiatedetox, usually under the name Suboxone (Buprenorphine and naloxone). It's not sold in the US under Temgisic I don't know if it can be taken with LDN, but it IS a VERY potent andlong lasting opiate. It has a half life of 37 Hours. It is more likemethodone than hydrocodone.Bup is VERY addictive especially after long term use, some say harderto quit than a heavy oxycontin habitThere is a suboxone group, but it mostly deals with people usingit to detox from or stay off other opiates.Casey> > > > > > >Help!> > > >> > > >I am desperate, for my pain is so extreme in my left leg I would > > like > > > >to have it cut off about now! > > >>> > > >I KNOW it says not to take any opioid related narcotics while > > taking > > > >LDN, but...??????????!?!?!?!?!?!?!?> > > >> > > >Can I take the Hydrocodone/Lortab during the day, during limited > > hours, > > > >and then take my LDN at night without any complications?> > > >> > > >Any info appreciated!> > Dear Holly> > Subutex (Temgesic) works on a different receptor site.> > I use this as pain relief for my patients who have had a Naltrexone > > implant with effect.> > Sublingually it tastes nasty though I am told.> > > > Jen> >>

Guest guest
I called Skip's when my Dr prescribed it to me and they told me that Darvocet was one of the few pain pills that I could take with LDN. I haven't had any problems with it and the LDN is still working...... Crystal's Website www.crystalangel.org [low dose naltrexone] Re: Hydrocodone/Lortab and LDN? Where on Skip's website does it say it can be taken with LDN?DarvocetDextropropoxyphene is an analgesic in the opioid category. It is used to treat mild to moderate pain and as an antitussive. It can be used to ease pain before, during and after an operation. It is often combined with acetominophen in the preparation co-proxamol (Darvocet in the US).http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dextropropoxyphene
