Guest guest
Yes, I know it's listed. what I wanted was to contact someone who has tried it and learn from their experience. Thanks, Andy Landau <CLANDAU@...> wrote: Andy, have you checked out the LDN website? Psoriasis is listed as one of the diseases that Dr. Bihari has treated with LDN. The address is www.ldninfo.org. Guest guest
Rick, couple other things to try: Dr Semon in Milwaukee WI thinks most psoriasis is from fungal infections. He uses nystatin and a strict diet to treat it, but you may get as good results from herbal enzyme products, in particular, Candex, which work the same way as nystatin. (email me if you want more details on anti-fungals) My father in law suffers from psoriasis in the feet and near the ankles. After trying many meds, he went to a dermatologist in India, and he suggested two things: get off most meds, and get a great quality extra virgin coconut oil (I think my SIL gets a huge tub of it from the philippines) and apply that liberally over the area 2-3 times a day. He was also asked to apply the oil and sit in sunlight for a few minutes, but best to check with your doc on sun exposure part. The good news is that my father-in-law is now feeling a lot better after 6 months of the coconut oil. I am not qualified to say something on the LDN part, hopefully others will, since I have been on LDN for only 5 weeks. /Nara > > Until recently I've done so well by using 4.5 mg LDN for my psoriasis. I went from a severe 60% coverage to a mild 2-3% coverage. Over the last month I've been steadily getting worse, I'm flaring again. > > Do I need to take a rest from LDN for awhile? Increase or decrease my dose? I don't understand why it was working so well but is not now. > Any suggestions/observations are welcome, I desperately do not want to return to where I was, it was almost unbearable. >
