Guest guest
I posted yesterday re: vit.D, the type of Calcium supp. my WLS recommends is: TWINLAB Calcium Citrate caps Plus Magnesium. My concern was this does not contain Vit.D, Ive been reading citrate is the best calcium, does it not require vit.D for absorption? what I really like is Viactiv and I do try to eat 1-2 a day usually because it cures any sweet craving I may have, plus it has calcium but my doc wants me to use the citrate, does anyone take a calcium citrate supp that contains vit.D???? Also my WLS sent out letters stating people who have had WLS should get a Bone Density Scan periodically, a baseline one then one every year or two depending on the results, so I will be asking my PCP for a referral for the scan. My hips, knees, and legs ache alot, much more than before I lost #160 Im worried about Osteoporosis, any comments or info greatly appreciated.....Annie ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com
