Guest guest
Well, yes. For apples and other fruit, you want to dip them in acidulated water first to keep them from getting brown. Guest guest
Well... I got my info from many places... One great book is the Ball Blue Book of Preserving. It has been said that it is the " bible " of canning and preserving. Though, your local county extension office will have some great recipes and Ideas for drying and canning foods. Check it out... Angelia in OR who doesn't always follow the directions... ----- Original Message ----- From: " Deb Knee " > > Hi, > When u write ur book on HOW TO DRY VEGGIES THE ANGELIA WAY... > I want a copy... Guest guest
Just make sure you get a " recent " copy. They have them at www.homecanning.com for about $6 Wal-Mart has them and other stores too... The older copies don't have as " up to date " info in them.
