Guest guest
Yay Kat...it is a big deal...I know...been diagosed two yrs in a couple weeks. You got me beat on the a.m. bgs...I think I am gonna try the protein and the ....gulp...getting up earlier. Congrads. Tam Yes, my BS was 122 this morning. <it has always been in the 150-160 range upon rising... After 2 years of trying many different strategies, I finally think I got it! A combination of 3 things did it for me....... A Lantus injection at bedtime, a protein only snack <meat> at bedtime, and getting out of bed earlier in the morning. None of those things worked alone but each one lowered it by about 10 points. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Guest guest
Would Protein be like Peanut Butter? Problem is, I have a Peanut Butter sandwich. Not sure if this is Good or not... And of course, most of the time, it is on Wheat Bread. ~~TINA~~ -------Original Message------- A combination of 3 things did it for me....... We have so many members that never post, but I'm sure some of them that have high fasting bg's are going to try this also. hugs Eunice
Guest guest
I think peanut butter is more of a carb, at least to me. Do you study the package labels?
