Guest guest
Dr. Goldstein posted at another group with the following comment which I think could possibly be related to his study. " 3) Venlafaxine: Dr. Wasserman and I were awarded a large grant from the NVA (national vulvodynia association) to do a study of this medication for DV. We have had excellent results with Venlafaxine and are very excited about this study. I expect that we will start enrolling patients in our study in May 2004. Guest guest
That is true but since it is an anti-depressant, perhaps it has not been readily prescribed by doctors for pain, particularly vulvar pain. Sometimes drugs are not necessarily approved for conditions for which they are being used.
