Guest guest
The liver stores glucose. When the body anticipates a need for energy (e.g. first thing in the morning, a flight-or-fight situation) it releases a lot of glucose into the bloodstream; this is called a 'dump.' For 'normies', the pancreas responds by producing more insulin; alas, that does not work with us. Liver Dump What is a liver dump? How does it effect BG readings? Guest guest
Yeah, basically, when you wake up in the morning, your body does all sorts of things to change over from asleep to awake. It does all sorts of things to wake you up. Its like starting your car with an atomic reactor after letting it sit over night. =D , Bruce wrote: > The liver stores glucose.
