Welcome, wish it were the " we've never felt better

group " lol, but everyone here is very kind and

responsive. I am 30 and on year number 2 of diagnosis

but about #5 of pain. I am with you on the pain

specialist thing, we have some out here but not that

will accept the insurance. I too have tried about

everything still having ups and downs. Do you have

support from family/friends? That part is very

important. This group is wonderful though, everyone

is very supportive and anything I can do to help, just

ask.

Welcome !

This is a great group to belong to. More close knit like a

family/friend relationship. Much better than a larger group. Your

name will be easy to remember because I am married to a .

Wow you really must be isolated where you live. If you have to drive

hours to see doctors I won't complain if I drive 25 miles into

Austin to see any when my insurance change.

Since your doctor can't confirm fibro, do you look it up on the

internet. I do when I can't find something in any of my books. The

2006 fibro book I just book though is very helpful.

Like you I have been on several different meds since 1992 for my

treatment. NSAIDS don't agree with my tummy either so I take

Protonix and Cytotec with my etodolac. That is what my GI and rheum

agree I should take.

Sorry to hear you are in such pain. I hope you can find a specialist

to treat you. One who believes in fibro for sure. It took awhile for

me to find one here in 1996 when I lost the GP that was treating me.

When you get a chance tell us more about yourself, like what you do

during the day that may be causing tbe stress on you.

Good luck finding the right treatment!
