Frustrating, isn't it? Tracie
Guest guest
and Sandy...I am scared to get on scale. lol. Don't wanna know... I wish that inches could count instead of pounds! LOL. We are females we are supposed to do the opposite of what we are supposed to...lose weight...naw, gotta gain it. (said tongue-in-cheek) Now if you say you gotta put on ten pounds....hmmmm...wonder what would happen. Hang in there. Keep trying....it took me eight tries at least before i quit smoking for good...you will win the battle against weight...just might take a few tries. tam

I know my problem right now is some recent extreme stress that I am having trouble coping with. My current crisis will pass, or at least fade a bit in time, and I hope I'll be able to get back on track. Hubby is currently battling the smoking monster and has had setbacks too. I'll tell him you found success on the 8th try! Thanks. Tracie

I used to be an ex small and now.....yikes! I'm also sick and tried of hearing relatives tell me " If only you would lose the weight you wouldn't have problems with the Fibro, etc. " AAUUGHHH!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks, ~Jennie Jenniesattic is not a business. I simply like the name.
Guest guest
Hi Donna, Even though I don't have luck losing weight either, I still remain active to keep from gaining more. One helpful tool is the pedometer that measures how many steps you take. If you are able to walk find a good reliable pedometer to keep track of it. My goal is 10,000 per day which I can make most days. My husband and I walk around the block every evening after supper. Longer walks are to our neighborhood park and back which takes 20 minutes. Twice a week I take a yoga class to keep my muscles supple. Because of it I am getting very limber, too. A few times a week I also do light strenght training at my local health club. If you are hypothyroid that can effect your weight situation. It can make you more tired and harder to lose weight. I did have that problem till put on thyroid medication. hope this helps.
