Guest guest
I too was also wondering this, and it is a good question! I also have bursitis and have always wondered if this was linked to fibro. DEB R --- Gold wrote: > Is very painful butt muscles common? > Has anyone gotton bursitis from the painful butt > muscles? Guest guest
I don't know if it is common with fibromyalgia or not but I definately suffer with some painful spots on those muscles. I normally notice it when I actually start using my massager on my lower back and upper buttocks and most of the time both sides are VERY VERY painful for a long time. I have to use the massager on the muscle on either side of the buttocks for a long time in order to get them to feel like they even loosen up a little. Same for the muscles (tendons maybe) across my lower back. N.
Guest guest
>Hi , As I type this I am sitting on ice. I have a pain in my a- --! LOL Since being dia. w/ FM I have had bursitis in my shoulders, arms, hips and plantars facstis in my foot. I my sciatic nerves in my butt and down my leg hurts. I went through therapy for them, but to feel better I'd have to go everyday. I go to the chiro for my butt. I helps alot but with my insurance know I can only go five times a year, which sucks. I do remember the strectch pt taught me - you stand on a slight 1-2 " incline against a wall and raise your toes this pull not only feet muscles but leg and butt. At first raise and bend a little- do about 10. You can try (at your own risk) I am not a pt. It is basically strectching. good luck. ps my husband made me my incline. > Is very painful butt muscles common? >
Guest guest
Hi , My pirformis muscle in my butt still is very sore and sometimes painful. It's been that way almost 6 weeks now so I think fibro might bedelaying the healing. Two doctors said I have piriformis syndrome which includes irriatation of the sciatic nerve, just in my butt. My pain is in the middle of my butt, mostly on the right. I sue a heating pain or Icy Hot cream on it. Ultram helps the pain. Bursitis is inflammation of bursae, the joint lining. It can be irritated from too much use or arthritis. I think I get it in my shoulder. Debbie J > > Is very painful butt muscles common? > Has anyone gotton bursitis from the painful butt muscles?
