Guest guest
Hi , The meal plan that works best for me is Diabetic-Exchange diet. It provides variety... and its not always the food u eat that needs a change. Sometimes... adding more exercise helps more than one would think. Staying on task is a difficult thing,.. and I can atest to THAT! lol Deb kellykay_10 wrote: Hi All, I am wondering as a new member what has been a sucessful way for you to lose weight? __________________________________________________

I have been the most successful with the Weight Watchers Point system. I just use the system, not the meeting attendance . . . tried that initially and found it counterproductive for me. Guest guest
Is there free info online about the " point " system??? for weight watchers, or is it just a glorified exchange diet? As far as I know, Weight Watchers gives out nothing free except advertising <g>. To use just the method without the meeting involvement, I buy a current set of the WW points books on Ebay and follow it . . . though I do alter it to fit a diabetic lifestyle. It's all in what choices you make re: how to " spend " your points each day (and it is possible to do this while making all bad decisions re: what you eat <g>). I don't get too deep into the details (WW has a few different versions of their point system now) but the basic system works for me. Probably one of the greatest ways it aids me is in portion control. Sandy T1 - 1979
