Hi Sharon, I test sometimes after eating yogurt and I don't have any problems with it. I can even eat a half of a cup of yogurt after eating lunch or dinner and still have no problems with high bg's. hugs Eunice
Guest guest
Do we really have to wait 2 hrs after testing a food? And should it be just a serving? Would there be any difference to eating two servings of it? I get so hungry waiting. I hate being diabetic. Its so overwhelming for me. My numbers just seem to be getting higher and higher. If I had not been making changes since April, how high would the #$%^ A1c be? Im lucky enough not to be taking meds yet. My A1c is climbing slowly. Since April its been 6.3 to 6.6 to 6.9 on Sept 10th. Every time I go in to get my results, my weight creeps up a few pounds, too. I cant tell you how crappy I feel emotionally and physically. Guest guest
Pam Thanks for the kind words...Im trying to be patient and learn and that it isnt all failproof. Jany Newbie 2B -------Original Message------- When I was first diagnosed with diabetes, it took a year for my numbers to really stablize. At the same time, I had to learn to eat properly. It takes time but you need to work with your doctor. And try not to stress about the whole thing. I hope things get better. Pam S.
