I am not a medical person. What I believe is the reason is that your body is

used to the sugar and used to functioning with it. Your are comfortable with

it.

Your body needs time to adjust to the healthy you.

how long have you been a diabetic?

I have been a diabetic for over 10 years . When my sugar is higher i feel a

lot better. Your body is used to a hgiher level and you just have to et used to

a lower sugar that is better for you.

Good Luck

Tara I was the same way when I first began bringing down my numbers.

I felt better at 200 than 100. However, now that I'm running a

typical 90-120 range, I feel much better. You are probably running

high a few times if you are still feeling bad at 90. Honestly, I

tend to feel slightly stoned when I'm running high, which sometimes

is preferable to feeling like I'm gonna passout at 90! I don't know

the physiology of it, but it's a nasty way.

I've learned once I got lower consistency that after eating a high

carb meal (for me 60 carbs +) would take my body a week or two to

feel normal again.
