Guest guest
What is the name of the antidepressant that you are on? I am on two different types. One to help sleep at night and a different one during the day. It has helped. Celebrex was my miracle drug. After 4 days I developed a strange rash that itched like crazy all over my body and it was under the skin. You could see it, but the skin felt smooth, dr. said stop immediately. Wishing you a painfree day. Carla in Arizona -My name is Fibromyalgia! Hi I am new to Fibro and this group, I couldn't for the life of me even begin to explain to anyone what was happening to me. I started noticing the pains and exhaustion of the disease a little over a year ago. I use to say to my husband, "How Did I ever Work A Job." I get up in the morning exhasted and have no motivation to do much of anything. I do what I have to do if I can walk to do it. some days it is hard to even get up from the bed and walk. The Dr put me on Celebrex and after I had 2 TIA's (mini Strokes) she took me off it. The Celebrex was a wonder drug for me. Now all I have left is Percocet and I do not want to have to take it forever. She also gave me a new anti-depressant that helps with Fibro. I start it on thurs, I sure hope it is the answer to at least some of the pain. Thank you so much for the My Name Is Fibromyalgia. Page, so helpful to put it into words. I love the support I have seen so far. Hugs tte

Guest guest
I just got put on Symbalta and had really really really bad side afects. I shook like mad and was so sick I could hardly move, my doctor says she will not put me back on that class of drugs as others in its class have had the same affect. So I will see when I see her on the 7th what she will put me on next. I would recomend to you all to find a good pain management doctor. There the best. My doctor is amazing. I will send you what I foudn on Symbalta so you will have it but be careful.
