Lets post about what we do for relaxation.>>>>>> Sailing. Depending upon the conditions it can be very relaxing. Of course, saiing in a gale or heavy seas is not particularly relaxing, then it can be downright nauseating. Then the relaxing part is making it back to the marina in one piece. Actually, that's not relaxing, but more of a relief. <gggg> Hanging out at the marina/docks just visiting with friends or having an impromptu cookout. The sunsets here are spectacular. Reading. I usually read several books at a time and rotate between them, depending upon my mood. Right now I am reading a history of the reign of I, a biography of Hatchepsut, a Janet Evanovich novel, and a book about boatbuilding. Ballroom dancing. Not especially good at it, but we have fun. Going for walks, especially at the beach. Corollary to that is shell collecting at the beach. Of course, in the summertime, beach walking is actually stimulating because of all those hot young Marines frolicking about wearing nothing but swim trunks. Corollary to that is fantasizing. <ggggg> Watching an old movie, although I haven't been able to do so for a while since we have neither tv, dvd or vcr. Taking a bubble bath, but can't do that either, we don't have a tub at present. Jigsaw puzzles, but don't have a table or enough floor space large enough to accommodate a puzzle so can't indulge in this one. Aquariums. I love to go to the aquarium and watch the big fish swim around. Very relaxing. Jellyfish are especially mesmerizing. Shopping. Would be even more relaxing if I actually had money to shop with. Shopping at the West Marine store for boat parts doesn't count. Maybe sewing? I just signed up for a beginning sewing class that starts tomorrow. It seems like it would be relaxing. Surfing the net on my computer. I have several sites I visit regularly, and enjoy reading my emails when I get the chance, even the fights. I smile when Bruce and Angelia bicker, it reminds me of my parents. <gggg> Tracie
