Some people swear by it, but everyone I know who went to Mexico for it didn't

make it. I only knew six personally, but it's not worth trying to me.

We've been to Mexico and everyone we've met died as well. I made it because

my brain tumor is benign and they really couldn't help that and my 5 year

old daughter at the time made it because she didn't have lymphoma to start

with! The doctors here felt she had this but the outcome proves otherwise.

She is almost 8 years old now and living a very normal life.

I think it has merit. From what I understand it works well with certain

tumors. Remember one alternative approach is not a cure-all for all

cancers. Other therapies - even combined ones - work well.

I would imagine it depends on the person, the environment, stage of cancer,

etc. FYI - I take 6-8 seeds daily as a preventive.

Marie,

My husband is fighting melanoma, and he takes Laetrile 500mg 2 times a day.

I have read that it has cured people of their cancer. You can find

information on it at http://www.worldwithoutcancer.com/

If you have cancer, you do need to follow a certain diet and protocol, not

just eat kernels or take laetrile. See www.worldwithoutcancer.com for info

on enzymes, diet, etc.

Hi Debbie,

I have to say hi to a fellow New Yorker. It's a great day here in the Big

Apple, isn't it?

Sorry to hear your friend has PA. I have many questions about her including how

long she has had the condition, who made the diagnosis, is she under the care of

a rheumatologist, what medication is she taking for the PA and what medicines

has she taken previously, what are her symptoms/where does she have the PA, etc.

When we know a bit more about your friend, there are probably people here who

will have excellent suggestions to offer based on their knowledge and

experience. I also found that reading several months' worth of posts in the

list archives was very helpful in educating me about the disease.

It is nice of you to help your friend by joining a list such as this and showing

so much interest in her disease.

Regards,

Kathy

Hi Kathy!!

Thanks so much for writing I am going to send my friend this mail so she can

answer the questions. I know that she found out she had Psoriatic Arthritis

this week. She is a very good friend and I want to get as much information as

possible so we kind of know what we are dealing with and what her options

are.

Where in NY are you? Im in Brooklyn. I will get back with the answers as fast

as I can so I can start learning more about this condition and I want to

thank you very much for writing to me.

Hello, Vicky. What a lovely age, but not to have just be Dx with PA. I hope

some day to actually see South Wales. It has such a rich history, very

romantic. Of course I may have been reading a few too many of those Historical

Romanaces.

Wishing you well, Sylvia from Oklahoma [uSA].

now..I've been trying to keep up with the posts, plus I'm the littlest bit shy.

Anyway, it's not like there's really much to say about me..

I'm 18, I was diagnosed with PA at 17, last october actually, though I've

suffered from it for about 5 years before that. I live in a town in south Wales

(that'd be UK).

I found this place on google, and decided to check it out..I'm glad I did too,

there seems to be a lot of lovely people on here, and I'm looking forward to

getting to know you better :)

Welcome to the list. Consider getting a hair elements test from DDI and apply

counting rules (found in FAQs of this list). You can get the hair analysis

without a doctor through DLS (Direct Lab Services) and they have a special ($67)

this month for those who mention this list.

Are you on any supplements? Please be aware that you can't safely chelate for

mercury, lead, or arsenic if you still have mercury amalgam filllings, so you

may want to start looking for a mercury-free dentist.

Thanks for the update, it is very encouraging to all of us here. I

know it hard not to do, but try not to stress too much over the tied

tongue op., my girlfriends baby had it done and it was very quick and

recovery was like nothing. I will still say a prayer for her and you

both.

HI Kathy, I'm new here as well. Welcome to this site, everyone here

seems really nice. I currently work in food service as a mgr. I

was a general mgr but had to give it up as it was just too much.

Now I'm just hanging on until some stock options vest. I understand

what it's like to give up something you enjoyed. It was one of the

hardest things I've had to do. I hope you find some meds to help

you, maybe this new one.

Hi Kathy:

Always ready to welcome another Kathy! Welcome to the

group - you are right, we all truly understand what

you are going through. This group has been so

important to me for the information and the caring

support I have been given unconditionally by everybody

here. What medications are you on? Currently, I am

on Methotrexate, Enbrel, Ultracet, and Mobic for my

RA, and other meds for Fibro, Asthma, hypertension and

anti-depressant. Never in a million years would I

have dreamed that I would be taking so many pills -

but we do what we have to do, don't we? I am 51, have

been dx with RA for 6 years, Fibro for 1 year, and

also have Raynaud's. I have two kids, daughter 18 and

son 21, and a wonderful, supportive husband. We have

a small farm here with horses, dogs, and various fowl

- they get me up and going in the morning. We have a

german shepherd, shepherd/husky mix (17 years old!), a
