Okay, I got the ideas.

We can make Pinky the " Kay " (of Kay Cosmetics) of WLS.

Pinky could start a cup at her desk for a " Send Pinky to WLS " fund. Next, a

cup / tin can at all of the 7-11, Magic Marts, or whatever convenience

stores. The local bank could set up an account. Maybe the newspaper will

run a P.R. piece to generate some interest. Then the TV shows would pick it

up and run with and before you know it " The Pinky WLS Fund " would be

founded. Next it will be an Internet chain letter.

Then it could be a not-for-profit organization chartered to wipe out obesity

in the state of Missouri. One of the mottos could be " Just Do It For Pinky. "

Just think, WLS marathons on Memorial Day (Jerry's is on Labor Day

right?).

Yes! and obese kids could go door to door and collect money, it may disrupt

unicef -- but what better time then Halloween to collect for obesity surgery?

Okay, lets sign up the graphic artist to design the first cup. Who's good at

incorporating a not for profit? Any PR people in the group? How about a WLS

spokesperson (a post op) to speak about the benefits of sending Pinky to WLS?

I am having way too many ideas for this... The more I think about, we could

have a lot of fun with this.

From your ideas, it sounds to me that you would be the perfect PR person!

....on your website you mention that your son in law is a

doctor.... isn't there anything he can do to help you? (Like refer you

to a colleague of his or perhaps speak to the local doctor on your

behalf, doctor to doctor) Good luck

Sounds like wonderful ideas to me!!!!! Please Please do it!!!!!! Raise

money for Pinky please as she needs the surgery asap. Now I have to go to

work at St s or as I call it the " cement pile " . Isn't that awful, but I

can't help it. I have given them 17 years and what to I get back??? A KICK

IN THE TEETH. I know a certain doctor that I'd like to kick somewhere else.

In the crotch and then to the moon. That should take care of my anger!!!!

I know that I sound like the wildest animal on earth, actually I am a very

nice 55 year old lady. The money raising projects sound wonderful to me. I

think that I will call the newspaper and see if they will run an article

about me??? Maybe put my picture in too?? Love to all, from here in the

hill country...... a great place to live unless you are sick or obese.

Thanks for the idea. But no he works at South a completely different

group. He is all for my having the surgery and would give me some money

toward it but he is only 31 and is just getting started. He is a wonderful

doctor too. He and my daughter have 2 children and a dog and lots of schools

loans to pay off. I have to stay with St s to have any ins at all.

NObody would take me now. But thanks for looking at my site.
