Guest guest
Hi I spoke with Rae on tuesday of this week and she was doing well. She is still in Durham awaiting return to the clinic. She said that she was not in pain but, just out of it from the drugs. Maybe you can contact her at the clinic tomorrow before she returns to Oklahoma. Guest guest
HI Rae !!! Congrats on your successful surgery! I just got home from the BEACH It was really bad weather on wednesday and Thursday but Friday and Saturday made up for the other two days. I walked the beach many times up to 2 miles twice a day. I weighed this morning and I have lost 17lbs in two weeks !!! I can't believe it ! I haven't been hungry at all. I just miss eating sometimes when my family is eating. I think it's in my head more than anything. I have started eating some potato just a few bites, and I did eat a few bites of scrambled eggs. I did fine with them. I hope everyone is fine. I have only opened this one of 143 E-mails. I'll respond to all I need to just be patient with me. Donna Has anyone heard >From: GRL1DR@... > >Hey there Carlissa and ...EVERYBODY!!! I am back home!!! Guest guest
Hey Rae Im so glad that things went well for you. Yes Durham is a beautiful place, maybe because Dr. R is there. Im sorry that I was unable to come to the clinic before you left for Oklahoma but........ Hopefully there will be a time in the near future when we can see each other. Im now down 25 lbs and I still find it amazing to lose that much weight in a short period of time. Im looking forward to the year 2000 because I know that I will be on my way to better days. For once the future looks brighter. I wish you continued success in your weight loss and just call me if you need me or even if you don't need me. Guest guest
Hey Donna! I had to laugh about your chewing up comment..it reminded me of something a nutritionist or some diet person said a long time ago. Basically it was something about how it's all " bull " when people say they eat because they like the tatse of food. She commented that our tastebuds are only in our mouth, so that if that was the truth, then we should just chew and spit it out-there was no need to swallow! I still laugh at that thought! As to the clinic directions-aim for guest parking and look for the auditorium entrance (which is away from the main door entrance...if you are walking in the main door, it's the sidewalk way to the left going downhill) SDee you there! Guest guest
Carlissa: Thanks so much for your advice. I do have a surgery date and am so excited. My husband is not sure that my family will be able to stand me from now until then. I am so tired all the time because I don't sleep very well and I keep telling my family that all of that will go away after my surgery. They are so sweet and supportive but they are now looking for ways to keep my occupied until the surgery. I am lucky that I am going to be able to take off the entire month of December so I will be able to recuperate, Christmas shop and enjoy the holidays this year. I am really excited. Guest guest
Rae To be completely honest with you I have not really wanted coffee at all. To tell you the truth I never drank very much coffee anyway so its's not an issue. The juice can make you want to puke after a few days. I just discovered a better deal. I tried some canned pineapple juice and pears. Boy does it goe down well. Everything else hurts and makes me sick and cranky. I wonder has anyone had a problem with being cranky after eating. I feel better not eating very much. I know that sounds crazy but, it's true. If you drink juice try some white unsweetened grapefruit juice,it tends to go down better because it's not that sweet. Well just experiment a little bit and come to your own conclusions. Hey you know I had this terrible craving for vegetables a couple of weeks ago and I even asked Dr. R. if I could eat a little bit but he said no. After about 3-4 days the craving went away.
