A question for a friend-Occular Gyric Crisis??

Has anyone heard of this and what is it?? I have a friend who has a son with an undiagnosed 4 year old son with progressive neurological symptoms. He may have a mito. disease. In looking over his medical records she saw reference to this on a few occasions-he has periods where he can't see andhis eyes half roll into his head that does not correspond with the seizures he has. Any ideas??
