Hi RV-

I is possible to view all previous postings the the surfacehippies web group.

Here's how to do it:

1. From your webbrowser go to " www.yahoogroups.com " .

2. If you haven't already registered go to the " Sign In " part of the website

and select New Users " Click here to register " . You'll have to enter a username

and password, some other information, and answer a question so that you can

retrieve your password at a later date if you forget it.

3. Once you've successfully registered you'll be redirected to a page where you

can " Join a Group " . Enter " surfacehippies " . You'll be shown the description of

the surfacehippy group. You should then be signed up as a member which allows

you to look at all previous messages.

4. When you come back to the " www.yahoogroups.com " website at a later time just

sign in with your username and password and select the " surfacehippies " group.

You'll be redirected to the " surfacehippies " home page where you can view any

prior posts to the group.

Good luck-

Had it not been for this site, I

would have had THR last January.  THANKS to all for the information and

personal accounts that truly made the difference!

Anyone interested in my

personal experience, let me know and I will respond to specific

questions.  I will say that Dr. Kennedy and his staff are fabulous

and my stay at Sarasota Memorial Hospital was made bearable (hate hospitals) by

a fantastic Ortho group.  I came to Sarasota from San for the

surgery and fortunately have a sister in law on Marco Island where I will rehab

for a few weeks prior to return to Texas.

Since I began following this site

I have deleted many postings which I wish now I would have kept.  Any advise

relative to rehab. would be greatly appreciated.  Anything out there

comparing THR rehab vs. surface replacement rehab?

Thanks!!
