The more i think about it, I probably wouldn't go for a trip around paris at the moment, although i think things are going nicely ( just muscultar aches), i would be in major bad shape for a few days after a trip around anywhere except for my neighbourhood, supermarket, cinema etc etc. I do almost normal activities in the house now, just on 1 stick, and when i go walking , also just on 1 stick. But if i stand too long, or sit too long, or walk too far... i suffer in the night and the next day. So i would save paris for the summer, and consider also doing it before the surgery if possible, just for a few days, or arguably better.. Amsterdam which is a 3 hour train ride from Gent.
