Guest guest
Ok, After reading the rest of the story I understand the whole picture. I agree that who ever wrote the first email should have the nerve to leave his name. I also commend Dr. Bledsoe on his coming out with the true story. Maybe this isn't the place to voice opinions about people, but understand that you may not like what someone has to say about someone else, but they do have the right to say it. I bet 90% of the EMS personnel here have at one time or another had a few CHOICE words about a supervisor or a partner AND have shared them with someone. So, watch out for those walls when you start throwing! Thanks again as I step down from my 1st amendment soap box, Troy Beasley Paramedic, Texas, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
Guest guest
My thoughts about Dr. Bledsoe: I've never met the man and I owe him nothing. I've read his texts and many of his magazine articles. He has attacked our sacred cows, armed with the knowledge that comes from having a medical school education and a paramedic's experience, and rendered them meat for our collective barbeque pit. I'll bet he didn't kill anyone, and I'll bet a bunch more that he's helped many. I'll take him over any private ambulance, gomer totin', way too proud of his " position in the medical community, " bonehead, half-witted, inexperienced, neophyte. Steve Pike Re: Dr. Bledsoe Talk about stirring the pot. I did attend Dr Bledsoe's presentations at the conference. He gave informative referenced facts that could not be disputed by Dr . You will have a hard time getting folks to throw stones at someone who is as highly respected as is. He has been a strong advocate for EMS for over 20 years. Where do you get off slamming someone you probably don't even know? I wonder what we might find in your past, but then again you don;t even have the guts to sign your post. Do us all a favor, don't stand behind your so called " standing in the medical community " . Either own up or shut up. Lacy, LP, RN
Guest guest
Troy, I hate to burst your bubble, but this whole thing started as a personal attack - not an opinion or an attempt for freedom of speech. The individual that posted this not only DIDN'T sign his own name showing that he thought that his post was something that was " right " to do, but he stole someone else's identity to do it!!!!! Please return to ALL of the prior posts and read the whole story as it unfolded. EVERYONE has the right to freedom of speech and to voice their own opinions. But vicious personal attacks under this guise is wrong - unethical, immoral. There is a fine line when we follow what our forefathers meant by freedom of speech and personally attacking someone to start something. Guest guest
Jane, It isn't as fine a line as he thought it was. I was downright ugly and malicious. You have to be able to look someone in the eye and give your opposite opinion in order to gain the quest for freedom of speech. Trying to discredit someone's lifelong work by digging up dirt is called politics. That is how we run elections in America.
