In Arizona, if it's raining, you can count on everyone driving like it's the

first time they've ever driven a car at all, and on that rare occasion (once

every ten years or so) >>

We get that too, but first we get the calls: " Is it raining? " Yes.....I've

gotten those. Then they ask for how long. I'm sorry, I'm not the weather

lady nor 411.

<<<P.S. Can you hold that rain in California until later today? I'm

providing support for a 67-mile bike ride today, and I don't want to have to

pick up

wet riders and try transporting them in my van.>>

Good luck on the ride! That's fabulous. I'm hoping we keep that rain for a

few days -- with the fires and the health issues from the smoke I'm hoping

it really gives us a thorough nature cleaning.

In Arizona, if it's raining, you can count on everyone driving like it's the

first time they've ever driven a car at all, and on that rare occasion (once

every ten years or so) when we see the white stuff (I forget what they call

it), you may as well just park your car and walk (but only if you happen to

own something heavier than a windbreaker). Unfortunately, we don't get " snow

days " at work (especially in this line of work).

P.S. Can you hold that rain in California until later today? I'm providing

support for a 67-mile bike ride today, and I don't want to have to pick up

wet riders and try transporting them in my van.

We can say the same thing when it snows out here in Iowa.

Often punctuated by several colorful expletives.

You should be in Nashville when it snows.
