NYC will be accepting applications for Police Communications Technician

(PCT) on February 2, 2005. The filing will close on February 22, and the test

is

scheduled for May 14, 2005. NYC residence is required.

I hope you have better luck than us. They had to lower our passmark to 45%

just to make the list of 30 names.

can you send me a direct link to the communications center or how to get a

Application.

For the NYPD test, follow the link in the last post by Mike Wallach.

For FDNY, the test was given months ago and probably wont be held again for

at least a year or two. We'll probably hire provisionally by resume. Before

you submit one, check out the requirements from an old web page I still have on

AOL, _http://members.aol.com/fd347/disptest.htm_

If you have the minimum requirements, send a resume to:

I'd rather have hazardous duty pay. With all of the special units they have

created, and the dozens of special responses they generated, it feels like I'm

living in a war zone. Not to mention the cavity searches to get into any

government building....
