Guest guest
Hello --- say some prayers for us over here tonight would you all? We had a fire, limited to the kitchen. NO one was injured (minor smoke inhalation for me) but we've got a lot of stuff to deal with the house. I am tired and sore and my eyes burn and everything. Ugh. And of course it was all my fault. I left a pan in the oven that I cooked the french fries in because there was still some oil to use for next time. Well I forgot about it and turned the oven's auto-cleaner on. Lots of smoke, fire and flames. UGH! No fun at all. So anyways can you all keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we try to figure out where to go from here. Thanks so much KatrinaGet more from the Web. FREE MSN Explorer download : http://explorer.msn.com
Guest guest
Katrina: Very very sorry to hear about this, but at least it was limited. Even a small fire makes a huge mess as I well know since I once forgot a pan of oil on the stove and when I returned flames were leaping up towards the ceiling. Scary, but yours sounds much scarier. Guest guest
Katrina, I can definitely relate. I would really like for life to get back to " normal " around here. Guest guest
I'm so glad everyone is alright!! We purposely don't ever put anything into the oven unless it's to cook it right then because we always forget to look first! I hope your insurance will cover the damage! Guest guest
Katrina, don't beat yourself up over it. Life happens. I'm glad no one was seriously injured. As for the stuff and the house, it's a pain in the neck, but insurance and elbow grease will take care of most of that. It's just stuff. You and your family are fine and that's really all that is important. who is really glad you guys are okay.
