Zinc must be taken with meals

Subject: Andy? zinc made him sick?

Hi,

Not off to a great start here... Began my son (age 11, 100lbs.) on

zinc today for his extremely high copper levels. (plan is for 50mg 4 times a

day) Gave him the first cap and he threw up a few minutes later. He's been OK

since but I'm a bit nervous about giving him more zinc without checking with

you. Any ideas?

Zinc MUST be taken with meals, otherwise you get nauseated, sharp pains and

often throw up.
