Guest guest
A different question regarding vacations, do you have limits as to how long you may take off at one time? Our system does not give us a paid holiday per se but we get 3.3 hours per pay period added to our bi-weekly checks. It works out to 80 hours per year which would be the same for someone working regular 40 hour shifts. We also get vacation time as well. I am leaving for 3 weeks of stormchasing this Sunday, but will still have 100+ hours of vacation time remaining when I get back. I was just curious if there were limits as to how long you can take off at one period. Larew nc911@... Guest guest
Yes and no. For those that haven't been here that long, you can take your entire 2-3 weeks vacation at the same time. For those who have been here for ever and have a gazillion hours of comp-time saved up - no, you can't take all your vacation and all your comp time at the same time - unless you're retiring or really sick, then you can use all the time at once so they don't have to pay it out when you leave. Guest guest
If we have the time, we can take it in as small of increments as one hour or however long you have...
