5 Days Post Op update - Upper/Genio

Wow - I'm feeling soooo much better! I had my first post op

appointment with the doctor. They took exrays and took the tape off

my chin (what a relief).

He also removed 2 of the 4 rubberbands so I can open my mouth a

little more. I'm moved up to mushy food - can use my tooth brush on

my tongue (it was growing a fur coat), and feel all around just

great.

Thanks to everyone out there for their support and advice - it's made

a world of difference. My first few days weren't nice - but now I'm

totally happy with my decision.

On a negative note - I'm still congested and there's still blood

coming out of my nose (not as much though). But if that's all the

negative I have - who cares!!
