It meets a need for me that even my closest friends and family can't meet -- even my husband can't listen in the same way! I can't describe it to others cuz it seems ludicrous that a group of folks from the internet can be so important in my life. At least I have met many of you so that makes it not seem so crazy -- but it wouldn't matter if we'd never met. There is a strong connection that is undeniable. We literally bought our first pc in YEARS shortly after Sara was born to try and fill our limited understanding of cleft lip & palate. (Little did I know huh?) You have all come to mean so much to me in such a short amount of time- I'm getting all choked up just thinking about it. I guess that makes me especially nutty because I've never met any of you. I have the same bond--luckily, with one of my friends here whose son has issues similar to tim's--behavior wise. You can't fully understand it unless you live it. I'm wishing it was summer in nj too!! happy holidays to all, whatever holiday you may celebrate. , mom to timmy 9 ChARGE, who was absolutely WONDERFUL in his holiday program yesterday!!, Keegan 6--who sang great on tuesday ngiht, and liam 4, who is trying to put me over the edge with his behavior lately--terrible 4's? and wife to pat, who is going to lose his job and we are hoping he goes back before 4 months!!!
