PS I still think there is something to immunosuppression /

immunotherapy / immunomodulation. And BTW I use Ultra Source of Life

Whole Food Supplement for both Betaine (25mg) and folate (400mcg

100% RDA).

the group ... I don't believe you are ranting and raving, but rather

doing a superb job of translation ... and I thoroughly enjoy your

My son, by the way, is on ursodiol (25 mg/kg/d) & rifampin, and takes

a vitamin supplement, and a supplement of folic acid. We encourage

him to eat spinach. Although we have bought some SAMe, he's not yet

taken any. He's not on NAC or fibrates. I'll be sure to enter this

information when Arne sets up the database for entries ... thank's

I echo the thanks back to all of you. I am watching these posts

carefully.

My son is on ursodiol but only 1,000 mg for 130 pounds. Is this close

enough? He does take folic acid and asacol. Couldn't get him to go with

the fish oil and I bought the aloe vera capsules after reading on the

UC site that 65 to 70 percent did well with it. Haven't convinced him

to try this yet either. I have had milk thistle and dandelion in my

hands at the store as well as Same and I find that I am feeling

desperate and confused because of the lack of treatment in this

disease. I also bought primal defense but haven't gotten that into him

either. I'm still very worried about the allergy shots he is taking.

Stef- are the shots the opposite of the immunosupression desired?

I think the above topic needs to be covered at the conference. How to

weed through the advice of what to take and what not to take.
