Which happened in 2000. Hello Bill When you go to the lawyer you should bring all your paid/unpaid medical bills, a written statement of how this injury happen and how they treated you at work after/until the day you were let go from your job. When the injury happened did you file a workers comp claim? What was their reason for letting you go from your job? Have you thought about the trick they played on you giving you sick pay, in hopes you will forget that it is a workers comp claim that you need to file against them? Did your boss ask you if you would like to file a report on your injury and start a comp case? These are things you need to think about before you go to the lawyer. Answer some of those questions and write the statement so you don't forget what you want to tell him/her. That is what I do. I get nervous when I get in their office and forget what to say. I hope this help Bill. Good luck Let me know what happens Toni /NY
