Guest guest Posted September 22, 2005 Report Posted September 22, 2005 My liver enzymes all went sky-high, higher than I have ever had within 10-12 days of going off the med's, I don't remember the exact numbers, I would have to go dig out my file...............severe right side pain, to where I needed prescription pain med's, severe nausea. When I called the dr. around day 7-10 and he saw my blood work, he immediately ordered an MRCP and liver biopsy, we thought we had done some damage. Luckily none, so we put me back on it, and everything came back down in a month. That is why in my case, I feel Urso keeps me going. I would hate to think what I would be like if I never took it. I don't know about anyone else, but my dr. explains it like "it is oil to an engine, keeping everything moving smoothly" bile through the liver that is...........my doc. has 13 patients with this, he says I do the best by far, but I was diagnosed early(by accident) and put on a high dose of Urso right away. I don't know if this helps me or not. There is just no definitive way of knowing. B. PSC 1994__________________________________________________ Quote
