>>WE HAVE 9 FULL TIME DISPATCHERS <<

I don't have any info, but just trying to clarify......

Where I work we have dispatchers and call takers, 2 separate jobs.

Some centers call everyone dispatchers whether they radio or answer phones or

both.

Do you have 9 full time radio talkers and others that answer phones or 9 full

time employees period???

Thanks

Oh my gosh. We are a center of 10 full time dispatchers (9 fully trained, 1 in

training) but our population is near 18,000 with a coverage are of oh, I think 9

square miles! How do you handle it with so few employees? Or do you not get

any calls for service?

for the size of population, you should have a lot more then 11 full time and 1

part time.
