WHOA! The ad is $76,000, not $10,000. We do not know when this ad will run

yet, it depends on how fast we can raise the money. Dave Humphrey and Devin

Houston personally donated money to sponsor families. Our parent donations

are at $6800 at this time and climbing rapidly. This ad is not only about

thimerosal but covers a wide variety of issues. Whew, I hope I set the record

straight!

Thanks for spreading the word anyway Barb (LOL)!

MI Unlocking Autism Rep.

Subject: Washington Post AD- UPDATE

Unlocking Autism is teaming up with other Autism Related

Organizations to run an AD in the Washington post (Run Date is a

very hopeful AD in Septemeber when Congress is back in session)

5.1 Million People Will See It.

1.5 Million Children Will Feel Your Love.

535 National Politicians Will Hear Your Voice.

And Three Words Will Come to Your Mind...

" It's about time. "

We are the parents, grandparents, and caretakers of children who

were unnecessarily injured by organic ethyl mercury and other

immunosuppressors in vaccine inoculations. Autism, ADD, ADHD,

asthma, and autoimmune disorders are just a few of the results that

we live with day-in and day-out.

We are educated...focused...self-made researchers with an emphatic

drive to improve our children's lives. We will not turn our backs on

the truth simply because government-appointed science does not live

in our homes and experience our knowledge first-hand.

We want our children to play, speak, hear, smile, share, discover,

grow, love, learn, live. We want them to have clarity, comfort, a

sense of belonging, and most of all, healthy bodies. Maybe next year

they can finally have an ice cream cone or participate in an Easter

egg hunt. Although we accept our children for who they are, what we

don't accept is this disease that has stolen our children and

rendered their little bodies unhealthy. We need to take this

opportunity to be heard.

Currently, drug companies are being nurtured by certain members of

the senate. This may result in the removal of any accountability and

future responsibility on the part of drug companies. You could

easily spend $300 traveling to Washington DC to show your

disapproval, or you could simply spend $50 to include your child's

first name, age, and diagnosis in a full-page advertisement in the

Congressional section of the Washington Post.

This full-page ad will educate the public about how environmental

toxins have affected our children. Its message will also appeal to

senators and congressmen who can help our children today and in the

future. The more we band together, the more attention will be given

to our children who desperately need it. Please send a $50 tax

deductible contribution to include your child's first name, age, and

diagnosis on this ad. Then one day soon you'll be able to say to

your child, " I did this for you. "

Be a part of the healing. Be a part of the hope. Contribute today.

Contributions by check should be made out to " Unlocking Autism " and

sent to:

JoAnne Pike

2530 N. Hwy. 41A

n, SC 29571

If you'd like to use a credit card, please visit the Unlocking

Autism website (www.unlockingautism.org).

*Private donations have been contributed for parents, grandparents,

and caretakers who are unable to send in $50 for financial reasons.

There will be a limited number of spots and this will be on a first

come -- first serve basis. Please e-mail JoAnne Pike at

JPiker@a... if you'd like your child's first name, age, and

diagnosis included on the ad.

***********************UPDATES=

UPDATE: SEVERAL ORGANIZATIONS ARE NOW ON BOARD INCLUDING SAFEMINDS,

ASA AND NVIC!

Kirkman Laboratories and the Houstoni company will be also

sponsoring a few children.

Dr. Jaquelyn McCandless has stepped up to the Challenge and is

sponsoring.

The Side by Side Fund is also helping with the cause.

Currently, parental donations are at $6355 it takes $10,000 to run

the full page ad

Total from the contributing Organizations at this time is not known-

If you or your family have been affected by the effects of Ethyl

Mercury - or if your life has been changed by knowing someone that

is suffering from effects of Mercury poisoning.

We ask that you step forward and help us be heard.

If you can donate even a little - Please, help get this message out.

If you are an aunt, uncle, grandparent, friend, etc- and would be

able to donated something in the name of a child you know, please do.
