Guest guest
, that's like telling an officer " Let's be careful out there " . They get real testy over that at my dept. It finally mellowed out and she walks up to me and says " well it finally got quiet, didn't it. " Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Within 2 minutes it wasn't mellow at all. Guest guest
Yepper, that's what the Sgt. always told them after briefing. It must be a thing at our department. I only did it once. Got told about it REAL quickly. Guest guest
Twice this past week a particular Sgt. used the Q word in dispatch on me and twice he and I paid for it. The first time not fifteen minutes after he uttered the dreaded word one of his guys did a car stop that went into the crapper. A hand gun was found the passenger was a felon, the driver under age and had alcohol in the car as well, the felon fled....well you get the idea. The second time he did well let us just say it made the previous one look good (part of it involved the fire truck responding to a medical call catching fire :0). As to lets be careful out there, I just tell them to be safe. I think that has to do with the actor that played that role dying while the series was running..........got to finish getting ready for the midshift, almost time to head in. Al somewhere in NH may we always bring them home safely
Guest guest
Had security tell us " Have a quiet night " . I wanted to hit her. (But that would have been a call :-() And ... of course .... it's been one of **those** nights. Almost all calls unfounded, but still have to make them CAD entries. For a small agency we can sure get a run when someone curses us :-) How do you tell people not to use those nasty words without saying them and creating your own problems???
