Guest guest
My husband would get a high fever (103) and severe chills (shake the bed chills) and severe nausea...anytime a fever gets high like that my husband usually was having a cholangitis attack...that's just our experience... fever and chills? Hello all, My name is Joyce, I am the wife of Gerard who is a new member of this group since he was diagnosed only this last spring with psc. He is just 36. Today is his birthday and we had to come back from a little weekend out because all of the sudden he has high fever (39- 40 C) and chills. He also has to pee quite often (but then offcourse he drinks a lot of water) So far we don't think Gerard has had any accute inflamations of the liver or other symptoms of psc, but now we are not sure what to think of this. High fever and chill are ofcourse not uncommon, but they are also a sign of an " attack " right? Do you maybe have any clues what else to look for and when for sure to go to the emergency room? Thanks for your help Joyce
