Guest guest Posted October 20, 2004 Report Share Posted October 20, 2004 Just wondering if any chargers have refluxed brown bile after having surgery. They suspect that the medications after Whitney's heart surgery have slowed the bowels down, and now bile is pooling in her gut. By the way, she is still in the Hospital. She had a fever of 105, not breathing well, and white blood cells where way up. It has all come down and all of the blood tests and spinal tap came back normal. It's so strange. We don't know what it was. Now the big challenge of getting her breathing tube out. She failed yesterday's extabation, and we will be trying again in the morning. Wish us luck.
