Guest guest
Oh, Kim, it was so good to see your post (just as I left ebay and 's beloved Berkenstocks...). It's not that we've necessarily found a home. " They " will interview . I keep thinking about the behaviors we've been discussing on the list tonight - so mild some of the time for , so severe at others - and how hard it will be for to understand the coming changes. How the devil do we explain the behaviors to outsiders...When we got to Perkins, we - staff and parents - all wrestled our way to understanding, but we did it together and with great caring for the child. I have a horrid feeling that we're about to reinvent the proverbial wheel. I think Perkins will send her teacher or someone else for the " interview " and then again to work on the real transition. I'm sure I'll post a lot more in coming days and weeks. It's just been a long time since I've been so unnerved, and I just hope I'm making some sense. We have 1 conference call meeting on Tuesday and immediately fly to Boston. 's sister will come in on the 21st or so from S. America, and I bet we just hug a lot (though has discovered the wonders of martinis...There's always something.) Martha
