Guest guest
NOOOOOOOOOOO Should NEVER use such a letter. You will get into huge trouble in many states. all you do for most states is use the wording of the law and write your letter just the same that is all - onthing more - no bible verses, no explaining your religion. NOTHING. Just the statemetn. If they don't like it - show them the law. Mostly it is people ignorant of the law. You may have to threaten lawyer with some ignorant nurses who give you grief. http://www.nccn.net/~wwithin/exemptions.htm link to exemption info also included are state contacts to help in many cases NY, IL and some other states - you need a little help a few states require you to be a member of an authroized religion (unconstitutional, but no one seems to do anything about it). Those states are mroe of a challenge Sheri At 10:28 PM 12/16/2002 -0800, you wrote: > > >--------------------------------------------------------------------------- --- > Rense.com >--------------------------------------------------------------------------- --- > > > > > Are Vaccines Mandatory? > Simple Answer: NO > http://members.aol.com/Tauwillow/index.htm > From Enoch Shemna <enoch144@...> > 10-26-98 > -------------------------------------------------------- Sheri Nakken, R.N., MA Vaccination Information & Choice Network, Nevada City CA & Wales UK $$ Donations to help in the work - accepted by Paypal account vaccineinfo@... voicemail US 530-740-0561 (go to http://www.paypal.com) or by mail Vaccines - http://www.nccn.net/~wwithin/vaccine.htm Homeopathy course - http://www.nccn.net/~wwithin/homeo.htm ANY INFO OBTAINED HERE NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS MEDICAL OR LEGAL ADVICE. Guest guest
Good point. Also the data for Hawaii is incorrect - only med & religious exemptions here. Makes me wonder about the rest of the info. I don't know the website mentioned, but one might want to approach it with caution. www.909hot.com has current info. > > > > > >------------------------------------------------------------------- -------- > --- > > Rense.com >

I did not read any letter, but in general this is very correct. Don't explain anything, just write " sincerely held religious beliefs " or whatever your state law indicates. > a few states require you to be a member of an authroized religion > (unconstitutional, but no one seems to do anything about it). Those states > are mroe of a challenge Actually those states are right now a BIG PROBLEM, for precisely the reason you indicated. In Arkansas, it has been declared unconstitutional to require membership in a recognized religion. However the law still reads that way, so now there is no religion exception for vaccination in that state. And if the state also does not permit a philosophical exemption, then you are left with only a medical exemption unless and until the law is changed. And pro-vax people are lobbying to NOT have the law changed, to only allow a medical exemption. Not fun.
