You sure you don't mean cranial nerves? If so, BOS says

cranial nerves

Use arabic or roman numerals for cranial nerve designations. Be consistent.

(Employer or client will often indicate preference.)

cranial nerve 12 cranial nerve XII

cranial nerves 2-12 cranial nerves II-XII

Ordinals should be expressed using arabic numerals or may be spelled out in

full.

12th cranial nerve

or twelfth cranial nerve

I use roman because that's what I got used to and it's okay with my employer.

Roman numerals?

Hi,

I have a question regarding cornea nerves. Are they in arabic or roman numerals

as in cornea nerves 2 - 12? Any help would be appreciated.

Rennie,

Like I have been saying, I have a chinese doctor with an extremely strong

accent. I have three tapes of him. Luckily these do not have to be

completely done until Tuesday. I listened again, and it IS cranial nerves.

Thanks.
