Lynn,

I'm glad to hear is recovering from her surgery and that is SO great

about the new place. I'm sure she'll do well!

Update

Hi,

Just a note to let everyone know is doing fine. Her left ear

with the replacement permanent PE tube is back to normal aided

hearing. The left ear is still full of disovable gauze. She has

started the drops and on Aug. 26th the doctor will clean out the

ear. He is very confident that her aided hearing will be back to

where it was. It has been about 7 months since she could hear out if

the right ear.

Our biggest accomplishment is that yesterday she moved into an

apartment with two other girls. They are in but not settled.

lived in a dorm at college last year. She has switched colleges,

switched majors and is excited about being " out on her own " . She

lives about 45 miles from home and about 50 miles from her

boyfriend. Far enough to be independent, but close enough to home if

need be. Her college last year was 2 hrs. away. It takes me about

50 min. to reach her apartment now.

She starts college at Lakeland Community College on Aug. 30.

This sememster she will take Accounting, Micro Economics,

Logic/Philosophy, and Computers. She is majoring in business and

hotel management. She has her work cut out for her. She plans to

work part time too. As Mom's do, I worry about her over doing and

staying healthy.

Blessings and Hugs.

Lynn

hi all, as you can see this is a generic letter to all....time is limited since

school started it seems. Tim is doing great in school, likes his new teacher

and has the same kids as last year and therapists--that's a plus. he got his

new splints yesterday and likes them along with new shoes--he's a boy after my

own heart--he loves shoes--and clothes!!! he gets to go to the Met in NY next

week on a field trip--I hope I can go too!!! Tim started swimming at the Y on

monday and had a blast--can't wait till next week.

Keegan loves his new school and has made several new friends, already asking for

play dates. he has soccer practice tues. and thurs eves and games on Sat.

he's doing well, but disappointed there are 18 kids on the team this year and

all have to play 2 quarters, which means he has to sit 2, not his idea of

fun...but he's dealing with it.

we just signed both tim and keegan up for cub scouts last night---this is dad's

project to help with --mom gets a break to some extent.

liam is doing super---LOVES pre-k and is glad to go everyday, but he's tired, he

stopped taking naps at 18 months, but has been napping at rest time at school.

he got to take the bus last week with 1/2 days and that made his week. he will

occasionally take the bus, but for the most part I take and pick up because of

keegan's schedule.

I am doing the pto thing again, the 1st meeting is tonight, and the fundraiser

kick off--such a pain, but no money means no fun. so, throw in b-day

parties--for kids and all the other stuff, we are busy. but, having fun and

learning lots. I put in my application for subbing, so hopefully, I'll get some

work too.

have a great day!!

and the guys-----oh, and pat is working and driving and the usual daddy

stuff.

I can relate to that and I don't have kids at home any more just bunches of

them at school.

You sound so busy, but isn't it great our kids can be so busy doing all

kinds of things.

great yes, trying even more so....pat and I just sat down with the calendar

from now until end of dec. so he can be on track too--and he doesn't even

have 1/2 of what I have. I think the scouting will be good for all 3 of

them. liam of course wants to know when he can be a tiger--he has 2

years--an awful long time in his mind, but it will be here before we know

it!!
