Guest guest
Chantelle, Do you have Microsoft works, the latest edition? In it under projectsyou can find spreadsheets of either daily or weekly household cleaning projects. You can also put in more information if needed. When you have that you can print it out and check off your tasks when done. Having a list on the specific task of cleaning your bedroom might help because you can see it step by step instead of being totally overwhelmed. Patty doesn't always need it but when she gets into a time where she is overwhelmed instead of me telling her what to do and having her mad at me she can just look at the spreadsheet. And that helps me because she can't say she didn't know! Now she doesn't even have to check it off. It is a routine for her and she can easily get back into it. Good luck. Everyone gets overwhelmed in keeping their place clean. Once you do the job you turn around and have to do it again. Especially laundry! That is one of the household duties here that lead to many frustrations. Bonnie

Guest guest
Is it just getting things ~organized~ or actual " knuckle get down and scrub " sort of cleaning? Is it 'just' paperwork, or other stuff mixed up??? The reason I ask is that if it is " get down and scrub " kind of cleaning, perhaps RED CROSS would have some ideas for you, as they do provide light housekeeping and deliver the odd meals for free which ~could~ be of some help. You could do a 411 BELL search for their local number. Salvation Army also has this service. If its actual " organization " stuff that has got out of hand, well....(some of us also have that issue but believe it or not we know where to find everything! ) Walmart sells little pretty boxes for $3.00 and they make great organizers. Zellers has multi-coloured bins which could hide things behind the couch for example until you get to them, keep 'em out of eyes way and ~could~ help you organize?! Scheduale a period of time where you could do a bit each day so its not overwhelming?? Hope this helps Ann Gloyn Education Specialist Canada > Ummm thanks for the advice, lol my room has one corner (about 5 feet > by 7 feet thats blocked off by my couch and desk and thats where the > mess is all contained.
