Or what does he need to do in reference to surgery? I visited my Dr. today and he is all for it for me. He also kept the info for other patients of his!! He was really excited to hear about this surgery. Thanks for any help ref. this. He told me to let him know what he needed to do at this point in the process. Thanks again. (JSE12451@...) Guest guest Posted April 19, 1999 Report Share Posted April 19, 1999 I got out of the hospital on Thursday- and saturday I walked around a big carnival and tuesday I attended my class! I had an insurance physical yesterday to try to get life insurance coverage and you know what the nurse said??? = " I cannot say for sure, but with a weight and health history like yours, it is very unlikely they will issue you life insurance. " !!!!!!! This was after she had taken my pulse and it was 120!!!!! All of this was after she had said " Are you sure you really want to go as drastic as a gastric bypass?? Are u sure that is what you want?? " ARE THESE PEOPLE IDIIOTS/// Of course it is not what we WANT, it is the only chance we have for a normal life. would you ever hear a medical person say to a cancer patient = " Are you sure you want the chemotheraphy " !!!!!!
