Hi Lori

Thank you for the letter. It made me look real hard at myself and I called my

therapist and went more to cry on her shoulder than any thing. I've had the

worst month. My aunt died, buried her and the next day my sister died Labor

Day weekend. It never hit me hard because I held it all in. My DH and I went

on vacation last week and had a good time but we got the worst cold I've ever

had. I was in bed all week He was in his chair and my daughter was trying to

work thru it. Sunday morn my cat was killed by a car and we buried her. At

this time I was OK with the cold but it sent me into a depression By Sunday

afternoon my daughter was in the hospital with her flu and I broke down and

couldn't stop crying. When I turned on the computer Mon. morn I had over 1000

e-mails some digests. So I only went back a couple of days. I stopped when I

read your letter then I went to talk to Ruth. Then she called my Phych. he

called in for a temp. medicine and I'll see him Thurs. and Ruth again Mon.

some times I can't do it all alone. Even thou I have my husband I think I was

keeping a front so he would not worry about me. Today I feel like 1/2 a ton

has lifted now I can get rid of the rest in time.

Hey Barb,

Nope, you're not alone, trust me! I'm glad things are looking up for you,

sounds like you're headed in the right direction.

Now, my question is...how on earth did you ever get your husband to cook

too? My fiancé does the food shopping (I HATE food shopping, but LOVE

clothes shopping, and poking around), but I do the cooking. He has cooked a

few times since we're together, and all comes out great (well, except one

time he thought he had to coat Filet Mignon with Steak Seasoning!), other

than that, not bad at all. Any words of wisdom to let him cook more often,

would be greatly appreciated! :)

Sounds like you have a very supportive family, I'm very happy for you.

Congrats on dropping a size, and feeling confident while seeing the scale!

30+ lbs. in less than 4 weeks is a great beginning towards your new life!

Yipee!

Yipee!

Norma honey,

I'm so sorry to hear what you've been going through.

I'm glad you took the step in calling your therapist by reading Lori's

letter, and realizing there could be problems some people are unaware of,

until they read other peoples post's. It's a tough thing to think of

yourself, when everything else is going on around you. Eventually times and

troubles take a toll on people, some overcome it fairly quickly, others

don't. I'm glad for your sake you had the opportunity to speak with your

Therapist, and that she's working with your psych to help you get over this

hump.

I wish you all the luck, and if you ever need to get out, talk, have me

listen, I'm just a phone call away, and right up the road!

Hugs to you sweetie!

Love ya!

Hi Lori

Thank you for the letter. It made me look real hard at myself and I called

my

therapist and went more to cry on her shoulder than any thing. I've had the

worst month. My aunt died, buried her and the next day my sister died Labor

Day weekend. It never hit me hard because I held it all in. My DH and I went

on vacation last week and had a good time but we got the worst cold I've

ever

When I turned on the computer Mon. morn I had over

1000

e-mails some digests. So I only went back a couple of days. I stopped when I

read your letter then I went to talk to Ruth. Then she called my Phych. he

called in for a temp. medicine and I'll see him Thurs. and Ruth again Mon.

some times I can't do it all alone. Even thou I have my husband I think I

was

keeping a front so he would not worry about me. Today I feel like 1/2 a ton

has lifted now I can get rid of the rest in time.

My husband started cooking while I was in the hospital, besides the

kids were yelling " We're hungry! " lol. He got out my cookbook and has

been cooking away. My motherinlaw asked me why I wasn't cooking ( I

was out of the hospital 2 days) and I told her if I can't eat it, I'm

not cooking it haha! Barb:)

Norma,

Jeeze when it rains it pours huh? I am so sorry to hear about all of your bad luck this past month. I am glad that you went in to see your dr and are feeling a bit better. Hang in there. When things get so bad for me I know that it is only a matter of time before they start to turn around for the better again. Take care and hang in there! Know that I am thinking of you!

Hugs to you

:)
