Re: LDN and quality of life study for MS patients at UCSF

Hello, All:

As part of the MS and Stress study that I'm taking part in through UCSF and because of a possible exacerbation, I was asked to see a nurse practitioner at the UCSF MS Clinic today for an evaluation. After the session, I mentioned that I had been in the MS/LDN study there last year. She then told me that the results of the study were "good." That is, it did seem that taking LDN had some benefit as far as quality of life issues go. Therefore, it may spark further research into LDN as a treatment for MS.

As far as I know the study results haven't yet been published.

And, as I have said before the study wasn't conducted very well and was on a small group of subjects. Still, as the overall results were good, it may spark additional research with better funding and test controls.
