(Again, kudos to the listen-up site for great resources!). After so many years, I finally am learning this. If we don't look out for our kids, who will? I have to admit, especially for some reason today, this whole thing gets overwhelming and I begin to feel sorry for myself; big mistake. I get into the " poor me " syndrome and then find myself getting bitter over this disability; I then feel worse because it is my SON who is going through the real trauma of it all. I think I am just overwhelmed today thinking of the new school year getting ready to begin and the constant struggles he endures..
