Most is specially ordered from compounding pharmacies by doctors who specialize in this type of treatment. These pharmacies make up the medicine based on the doctor's instructions with respect to dose. You can go to the 's Thyroid site and look for a doctor that specializes in this treatment. http://www.wilsonssyndrome.com/ I have been on this in the past and found that timed release T3 works very well. My reason for stopping is that all T3 is harder work for the adrenals. It is important to have a good comounding pharmacy for this as poor compounding can make the T3 poorly absorbed.
