Guest guest
Some of you may remember the time Kendra ordered a digital camera on-line by herself and we were surprised to receive the new camera on Valentine's Day! Since that time, we have been especially careful to watch the computer whenever Kendra is near it as we don't want to receive some even bigger (and more expensive) surprises. Recently Kendra has really been intrigued with E-Bay. was searching for some used text-books on E-Bay and Kendra watched and learned what to do to search for various items. Since she likes books, she started searching for her favorite titles on-line. She found a number of books she wanted us to bid on for her and she was successful in obtaining the items. Luckily the items she wanted totaled less than $5.00. It was my first experience with E-Bay and it was really fun to see all the different things one could buy for good prices. Anyway, she then started to obsess a bit on the whole thing and asked us each day to buy different books on E-Bay. She finger-spelled E-B-a-y (*lots and lots of times*) everyday. From time to time, Kendra has some difficulties with reversing letters, using the wrong letter, and omitting letters. I had to laugh when instead of E-Bay, she finger-spelled " E-Buy " . I'm not sure she realized how clever that mis-spelling was, but I thought it was great. :-) Mom to Kendra, 17, , 23 and Camille, 26 California

Guest guest
Very cute, ! We are an internet shopping family. Aubrie is quite familiar with the idea of ordering something from the computer and then having to wait for it to arrive in the mail. I hadn't thought about her getting as old as her brother and being able to get the whole transaction ready for me to complete with the credit card. We'll all have to watch those little internet shoppers! Ebay has been great for finding movie titles for her at reasonable prices. Since we're in a rural area, it's great to save the hassle of going to the city and searching the stores. Michele W
