Guest guest
Thanks. Guest guest
You shoudl feel some improvements butit si not impossible to not feel anything until it breaks through the resistance. I would at least hold out till 14-16 weeks had passed then if stil nothing you can always try the natural again. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
>1. I'm at 75 mcgs- am I supposed to feel nothing until 12 weeks? >I sure don't feel anything yet. > >2. I took an extra 12.5 mcgs last night at bedtime. I was wired and didn't sleep well, but I didn't take HC with it. I wonder if each time I take Cytomel I should take HC with it? Difficult to say without knowing pulse and temperature before and after taking it. Generally cortisol should be low at night, taking T3 then can help lower it which helps you sleep. I would expect you to get relief from hypo symptoms if you can take enough T3, tolerating enough T3 to benefit from it is the trick. The amount needed will diminish around the 12 week mark if there is a resistance issue, from what you were saying you may have " just " a low FT3 issue rather than high RT3 as well and hence the resistance may not be a problem, more a lack of conversion or utilisation. Whatever the issue enough T3 should relieve the symptoms, IF you can tolerate it. Have you graphed average temperatures for a few days lately?? are they stable from day to day? What were your last Ferritin labs? if that's low you won't be able to utilise the T3. Nick

Whatever the issue enough T3 should relieve the symptoms, IF you can tolerate it. What determines if I can tolerate it? My ferritin is around 86-90. I'm taking 30mgs of HC. I see when I start to raise T3 i start to feel not so good and I start to get these dark circles under my eyes and I look pale - the same thing happened when i took Armour. When I raised it to 180mgs I looked bad and felt weak. With T3 it seems beyond 50mcgs the same thing. And my hair is dry as anything again. As crazy as it seems I felt better with that little amount of 60mgs Armour. But i didn't feel as good as I think I can feel. But how can I feel really good unless I can take more of this stuff? I am at a loss on this one > > >1. I'm at 75 mcgs- am I supposed to feel nothing until 12 weeks? > >I sure don't feel anything yet. > > > >2. I took an extra 12.5 mcgs last night at bedtime.
