Guest guest
****I guess I just thought that was how things were supposed to be. If one is sick, the other one takes over.**** YES, YES, YES..... Marriage is a partnership and when one gets sick the other picks up the slack... and lets some of the little things go. It really helps to get the sick partner (you) back on her feet again. ***Then to finally face the fact that I cannot maintain gainful employment and can't even take care of my home and family in the way I would like to is very difficult. Kind of makes one feel like a failure doesn't it???**** You're taking too much on your shoulders. Deal with one thing at a time...first get the disease under control then you'll feel more like doing things and better to cope with things going on around you. Be kind to yourself!! Your house, your kids and even your hubby will make it through the toys on the floor and the lack of enthusiasm on your part. Don't be so hard on yourself... at least you're there to cook and make sure the kids are tucked into bed...all the rest can wait for a day when you feel better. If hubby doesn't like it, he also was gifted with two arms and two legs, remind him of that. Repeat after me.... " I am not a failure, I'm sick " .... " I am not a failure, I'm sick " .... " I am not a failure, I'm sick " .... " I am not a failure, I'm sick " .... " I am not a failure, I'm sick " .... Hugs Vicki
